The day before yesterday people walking by Times Square in New York could see three huge trays filled with meat and blood. Dinner.
The only problem for the bypassers seemed to be that there were humans in the trays, not animals.

This was a protest action by PETA People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), they do these kind of things every now and then to make people open their eyes to the way they live.

I’m not going to lie. I eat meat. Because I like meat. But I’m trying to stop.
I’d rather make that huge change in my life to something that I’ll be able to keep doing, rather than turning vegetarian over night and then realize that I don’t know shit about how to live without that basic source of protein that I’m used to. Therefore I’m swapping the meat to other things. For example, I don’t use ground beef anymore, because Quorn works fine, if not even better.
My guess is that chicken will be the most difficult to let go of, because damn, I really do like chicken.
My only reason to why I’m doing this is my bad conscience. I feel bad when eating animals, it’s as simple as that.

What’s your opinion on there protest actions? Disgusting? Good? Needed?
I don’t judge, I’m just curious.

I’m wearing a white shirt, and I can see myself twice in this footage. “Surreal” is the only thing I have to say.

Btw, this is where you can see how the journalists do nothing but feed on misery. It’s not like I don’t see why they have to do it, people WANT to know, and I’m one of the people who do, but I just can’t respect what they’re doing.

So…I just came back from the district court, I went there to listen to the court proceedings for the issue of a warrant of arrest for the guy who claims to have killed his family. I had to go there, I had to see him. I guess I expected to feel that “okay, there’s the guy who murdered his family”. But you know what? I didn’t feel like that. I just felt that this has to be a huge misunderstanding, he’s protecting someone, this can’t be true. That poor guy, who looks like he’s going to cry any second, did not kill anyone.

I know it seems like I’m wrong, and I probably am since he confessed, but… no.
As I told you yesterday, I usually like to hate people who do shit like this. But today I realized why some people are so sure that their friend/boyfriend/husband didn’t kill anyone, that they end up being the next victim. I’m not afraid of this guy, and you could leave me alone with him in a park in the middle of the night, and I still wouldn’t be afraid.

Instead of convincing me that he’s a crazy guy, the look on his face almost made me cry, and I feel even more than before that I want to help him.

And I am deeply sorry if any of the friends of the family read this and think that I’m a fucked up bitch, you’re free to think so. I just have a extremely hard time to believe that anyone is even close to the truth. And, if I can, I will try to attend to the legal proceedings, which will probably be some time next month.

(On a side note, if any of you are wondering why I’m not having any picures or names in my entries about this, it’s because I think it’s wrong. His name and picture shouldn’t have been publishd at all, and the journalists showing up today at the district court effectively killed all lingering dreams about working as a journalist. Seriously, I can not have a job where my job basically is to hurt other people. So, no pictures. Google it if you want them.)

Wow, there are some really messed up people out there.
I mean, usually I’d be flattered if someone decided to take +50 pictures of my ass with their fancy paparazzi camera, but on the scene of a murder? Wtf?
I get it, these people kind of get paid to take pictures and send them to the newspapers. But they’re probably not going to publish them anyway, I mean.. I don’t know. I guess I can see why they have to take pictures of the house, and the people working at the scene, but when people come there at night to light a candle and think of what happened, is it really necessary? It’s not like it’s interesting to ANYONE.
Just felt a bit weird.
Anyway, it felt good to have been there, I walked by that house at least twice every day when I lived in that area, I honestly don’t think that I’ve been there since I moved. To be back, and for that reason.. I don’t know. It’s just so messed up, so WRONG.
And yeah, I know that you’re probably completely bored with my ranting about this, but since I have a kind of “personal interest” in this, I’m of course eager to know as much as possible. Also, I don’t really have anyone to talk to, because most people that I know are like “ok so he’s a crazy ass murderer, whatever”, and I’m not like that.

Wow, this has been a long day..

Anyway, a short update for those of you who don’t know, the older son in the family, the brother of the two dead children, confessed earlier this evening.
I still have such a hard time to believe that he did it, mostly with these kind of things I like to hate the offender. People hurting and killing other people is the worst thing I can imagine, and it really pisses me off when people choose to destroy someone else’s life like that. But in this case, I just feel so god damn sorry for him. I just hope that this is all a really fucked up misunderstanding.

I’ll keep hoping.

Something went terribly wrong in that house. Three people are right now arrested, those being the mother’s current “boyfriend”, her ex-husband and the son she had with the ex-husband (the son was living with her). So, one of the arrested ones is the half-brother of the two murdered children. Wow, confusing.
I can’t help thinking that there’s no way that the brother would’ve done it, I went to school with him, he’s not dangerous! Or, is he? I’m hoping so bad that it’s not him..
And I can’t stop thinking about the mother. How does she feel? (stupid question). How do you ever get over this kind of thing? One half of her family is dead, and the other half is arrested for the murder..

I’m in some kind of shock, this kind of shit just doesn’t happen here. It’s such a tragedy, and I really hope that they’ll find out who did this.

Wow, three people were killed tonight, here in Härnösand. For people living in large cities out there, this would be nothing unusual. Since I moved here, 2 people have been killed as far as I know, before today. now it’s 5.
And it’s right where I used to live before, it’s where I lived when I moved in with Lars.
I’m creeped out. Poor people. As I understand it at least two of them are teenagers.

Dr Phil had his moustache shaved off by Oprah.
He looks weird, I’ve never seen him without, and no wonder, because the last time his wife saw him without it was 38 years ago. Wonder what that feels like…I had my braces for 3 years and I felt really weird when they took it off, lol.

The holy Lord Jesus Christ was hit by a car last tuesday! Oh my god! (no pun intended)

Okay, what really happened was that a man in Northampton was hit by a car. he was conscious and so he gave his Massachusetts ID card to the police officer, who identified him as Lord Jesus Christ. I can’t help asking myself if he had some messed up parents giving him that name, or if he took it later as an adult. Atleast I thought it was quite funny, I haven’t heard of anyone having that name as a legal name.

Why Google when you could Blackle?
That’s a fair question.



Blackle is a search engine powered by Google Custom Search, it’s based on the theory that a dark website uses less energy than a light one. If you set Blackle as your home page, you will save a small amount of energy every time you open your browser. It’s not much, but with over a billion search requests every day, Google is without doubt the largest search engine on the Internet. Therefore, it should at least make a noticable difference if people used Blackle instead.


There are also two search engines that claim that all the money that comes from advertising on the page is given to organizations that work with conserving rainforest. Which is of course great and it definitely makes me consider to change to using one of them instead, but at the same time I don’t trust people who say that they’ll give money away without a reward. People are greedy, and it might just end up in another Red Cross-alike scandal. It’s not that I bother if people get money when I visit their website, I just don’t want them to lie about giving it away.
Anyway, here they are! Growyn is my personal favourite, since you can change the background picture to several other beatiful scenes.





So you see now that we can all do our part for saving the nature for at least a while, even without changing our lives completely. I’m not willing to give up transportations, foreign food or light bulbs. But I’m definitely willing to change from Google to an alternative search engine. Are you?
